The 12MG1400 from Selenium is a highly versatile woofer where a flat frequency response with extended range from the mid bass to upper mid range is required. Widely used where small unobtrusive speakers are called for in houses or worship, hotels, clubs, and restaurant enclosures. Highly durable Copper Voice Coil on Kapton™ handles a lot of power but light enough for extended frequency response. Special Resins are used to treat the long fibre cone inreasing strength and imrpoving sound quality. Half roll surrounds are treated to improve stability during high excursions. The epoxy coated frame is extremely resistant to oxidation and wont bend even under harsh conditions.
